Hi Deven!
We just wanted to send you an update on Pearl.
She's doing very well at home, she knows how to sit, shake and lie down. We're working on 'come' - she's very stubborn!
We just got back from our first long trip with her, we went to PA to visit my family for Thanksgiving. She did GREAT in the car - 800miles round-trip. She slept with our other dog in the back seat almost the entire time.
She started losing her teeth about 2 weeks ago, and she's already outgrown her first collar. I have her spay appointment scheduled for early January. I can't believe how big she is now! She weighs about 35lbs.
Oh, and she LOVES to chase ice cubes around our kitchen... it's hilarious!
We hope you and your family are having a great holiday season. I'll attach some pictures for you to see.
Thank you!!!!
Jill & Chris M

Hello Grimaldi Family!
We just wanted to send some pictures of Sadie (AKA -- Daisy Girl). We all love her so much. She is such a good, smart puppy. She is getting used to her crate at night and settles down quickly. She has even started ringing the bell to let us know when she wants to go outside. She knows how to sit and we are working on "come" and "down". We take her to the bus stop every day, so she is beginning to learn how to walk on a leash. She has had her first vet check-up and everything looks great.
Thank you so much for giving her such a wonderful start in life. It really shows how nurtured she was in your home. We'll send some more pictures as she gets bigger.
Take care,
Brad, Amy, Alaina, Kirsten, Tyler & Jake

Hi Deven,
Just a quick photo of Ronnie and Guinness for you to see... They are so similar in size now- it's hard to tell them apart in photos where their color isn't clear. Ronnie is still very white and his face is so much like Gandalf's. Guinness looks more like Sandy, I suppose, but he does have the squarish look that Ronnie has- it shows up sometimes but not always. They still are all rough and tumble by day, cozy buddies at night when they are visiting each other. Ronnie and my father in law are best buddies, Guinness is best friends with everyone here- including the UPS man and the painter and the AC guy and all those "strangers" our shepherd feared. We love it. Guinness is truly the perfect dog in most ways. Any of his imperfections can be blamed on his handlers, I am sure! We are trying and doing pretty well most days. He gets so excited when he greets people or dogs- that is our biggest problem but we are working on it instead of just letting him go crazy. He is absolutely beautiful in the face. I have had several other lab owners tell me he has the most beautiful coloring they have ever seen.We have him in two puppy classes right now, one at our vet/kennel, which is Town and Country Veterinary in Apex and one at PetSmart. He shines in both despite being youngest. He likes it here, we think! He weighs just under 30 pounds now. The vet thinks he will be smaller in size- maybe 60 pounds. We don't really care- but 60 is easier to handle so that will work! Hope yours are all well. Please let me know if you have more puppies. We have an aunt (Bill's sister) who MAY decide she is ready to get another dog after losing the last one a few years back. She is in love with Ronnie and we think she may be ready to break. Her son Billy got the one named Hunter that you looked up from a few years back. So if you have more with Gandalf, we would like to know.. I will check your website as well.
Take care,
Kelly, John, Michael and Erin

Deven:
In January our Katie will be two years old. We are constantly amazed by how wonderful a dog she is and often attribute her loving temperament to her early start in your home with your girls. While most labs are gentle in nature, our Katie has absolutely no meanness in her at all. She displays no aggression. While she loves to play, she is happily submissive when needed. There is no possible way we could love this dog any more than we do. We think back to our sight of your house and watching one of the girls
disappear under a pile of puppies on the front lawn—startling for us, but in retrospect, probably one of the best examples of why we have such an exceptional companion. These puppies have so much love and socialization from birth that they are ready to give back in kind.
Jack and I could not be more appreciative of our pup and thank you for her.
Warmly,
Julie

Deven,
How are you and the family? I just want to share with you the Birthday picture of my Little Big Girl "Jasmine" on her first Birthday. I cooked spaghetti and bought her an ice cream muffin for dogs and put a candle on her muffin and of course bought her more toys. She had a wonderful time I call her my little big girl because she weighed 85 pounds and the doctor put her on a diet with Johnny. How is her daddy and mommy? I hope they are all doing well. I visit the website just to see Mr. Gandalf or Ms. Penny. Again thank you so much. Jasmine is like a daughter to me, she and Johnny are the joy of my life.

Good morning!
How fast this past year has been. I cannot believe that I had Akiko for year. There are just not enough words to describe how much joy, companionship and love that Akiko has brought me. Everyday she brings me smiles and tons of kisses. She is such a wonderful dog. I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!
I attached some pictures.
Again Thanks!!!!
Michael

Hi Deven,
I know there are too many Grimaldi dogs out there in the world to keep track of them, but I thought you would enjoy seeing this collage. I got Sandy and Gandalf photos from your website to let our kids compare them to Guinness and Ronnie. I thought you would find this funny. (I haven't used this for anything other than to send to a few family members so hopefully you won't mind that I got those images from there.) We are all enjoying our sweet dogs. Guinness' learning curve is remarkable. Having had a clever German Shepherd, we are amazed at this Lab's abilities. At any rate, it is safe to say that both these puppies have very happy homes. Last time Guinness and Ronnie were weighed (late October- 7 mos.) they both weighed 45 lbs. We often wonder what Jazz (we prefer calling him Fat Boy) turned out like, since he was so much bigger back in April. Hope your family (dogs included) is doing well.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Kelly

Hi,
My name is Lyle ******** and I am the lucky recipient of one of your puppies. My husband surprised me with Daisy Girl for my May 5 birthday. She is nine months old and a love. She is quite beautiful, calm, intelligent and loving. She is a wonderful pet. We changed her name to Keva because of her birthday. She has the life. She goes to the beach almost daily and has ample opportunity to play with other dogs. We have trained her in the basics but she craves more. NEEDS more.
Thank-you for picking such a great fit for out family.
We appreciate the great work you do.
Lyle

I am just writing to say thank you so much for this wonderful puppy! I could not have asked for a better puppy! I started using the bell to potty train him, and he learned to ring it in just a couple of hours...he is now house broken! I have also already taught him to play fetch, come when I call him, and to sit! He is so easy to train, and an extremely smart puppy! All I had to do was push his little butt down once and after that he is sitting every single time I ask! I am extremely pleased with him, he is definitely a wonderful first experience in owning a puppy! I just can not stop bragging to people about how smart he is! I don't know how your other puppies are coming along, but from how great Aiden is it seems you have an excellent combination between Ceasar and Luna! I can not thank you enough!
Kristen

Hi,
We've had Riley now for a little over a month now and are amazed with his intelligence, eager to please and unconditional love.
We have taught him to ring a bell hung from the door handle to go outside to releive himself. He can sit, stay, give five, lay, roll over and go to bed all on comand! He is both Mandy's and my shadow when we walk around the house, it seams he might miss something if he isn't by our side, very cute!!
He is growing very fast as you know. I'm sure I will be missing his puppy size in the near future as he will be all grown up.
We would like to thank you for an easy adoption process.
Hope all is well with you and your labs,
Kyle and Mandy

Hi!
My name is Christi. My husband (Jason) and I purchased a male yellow lab (I believe you called him Riley and he had a stiped collar) in the spring of 2005. I have been meaning to send you pictures for a long time and finally have a couple which are attached. The first one is a picture the week we brought him home. The second one is from Spring of this year. We named him Mattox and just adore him! He has fit into the family
great and we couldn't imagine life without him! He loves everything outdoors...camping, hiking and LOVES swimming!! We get lots of compliments and give our your name and website out constantly. We are expecting our first child this April and we just know he is going to be a great big brother!
Hope all is well with you and your family.
Christi
It's all about the dog now! (Jazz)
